Now lets get started!

1. Budget

In my opinion , you can get at least $200 guitar, don't worry about a $1200 or $1000 guitar you can get that later on, the most important thing is, you can start jamming and start strumming your first chord. Now with accessories, it doesn't need to be fancy. I would recommend to have a clip on tuner, simple gig bag ( a soft bag) just to protect you guitar and you can bring it wherever you go.

ones you figure out how much you budget is, you need to figure out now what kind of guitar you want to get.

2. What kind of Guitar ?

this guitar has a Steel Strings on it and there are also guitars that has Nylon Strings on it.

The Nylon strings are more typical to classical guitars or Spanish guitar, and the steel strings are more on to Pop, Rock or contemporary styles that I feel like you most want to like.

There are also different shapes and sizes of guitar, now for a little kid you might not want a big guitar for you. However, the most classic style of the guitar that you will mostly find, is the Classic Dread Knot shape. There's also Jumble Guitar, which is bigger and louder, but it might be uncomfortable to start with. There is also a Parlor Guitar which is skinnier and smaller, and there is also a three Corners size Guitar. So if your a kid, or your hands is smaller, I would recommend to check the Three corner size guitar for now.

3. The Action

You might be wondering what am I talking about? What I mean is that the distance of the strings from the fret board.

The higher up, the harder to play it, so take it to consideration to check, since the lower the string from the fret board the easier to play the guitar and lesser friction to your fingers. In addition, the tone is cleaner as well if the strings are easy to play.

4. Also consider what wood your Guitar is made of.

Do some research. You can decide which sound better for you. So I can recommend 2 for you. The Lacquer and the Satin finish.

This kind of guitars can sound and look so good at the same time it will save you tons of money. But If I have to really recommend you one. I am for the Satin finish.
